Training programme is going to be held during 24th-28th Febraury, 2009 for the librarians of SCERT, SIEs and DIETs, coordinated by shri. P.K. Thripaty, Asst. Librarian, RIE, Bhopal.

On the occasion of the silver Jublee year celebration of CIET, New Delhi, a lecture series was organized at the Institute on the theme "ICT Wave in Education" on 6th February 2009. Prof. Dilip Tikle, Dean, Hexa University, Mumbai, highlighted and inspired the future educators about the importance and everyday relevance of ICT in education.

Annual day function was held on18th Febraury, 2009. Prof. Poonam Agarwal, Joint Director, PSSCIVE graced the occasion as chief guest. Prizes were given away to the students in the excelled in curricular and co-curricular activities.

Ms. Ruby Arya, a pass out of B.Sc B.Ed-IV year programme in 2008, won the prestigious Gold Medal of the honorable Late President of India (1994) Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. Late President honored RIE, Bhopal by instituting the Gold Medal to be awarded every year to a student adjudged as the best for general proficiency, character, conduct, excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.

Institute’s Advisory Body (IAB) would meet on February 27, 2009 at 11 am.
